Build a Career, Not Just a Pipeline
Whether you are newly licensed or years in, this is a San Diego team that backs its agents with mentorship, tooling, and honest conversation.
Why PorchLight
The Porch Light Is On for Agents Too
A porch light means someone is expecting you. That is how this team tries to treat its agents: you are not handed a login and left to work it out. You get people who answer the phone, who have done the thing you are about to try, and who would rather you ask than guess.
We are a working team in San Diego, not a recruiting operation. The measure of whether this is a fit is simple, will you be better at this in a year than you are today?
What You Get
Support That Is Actually Staffed
The things that make the difference in your first year, and in your tenth.
Mentorship That Shows Up
Pair with an agent who has closed the kind of deal you are working on. Shadow appointments, sit in on offer strategy, and get a straight answer when something goes sideways at 7pm.
Leads and Pipeline
The team generates business through search, referrals, and long-standing relationships across San Diego. How opportunity is shared is a conversation we have openly, ask us.
Marketing and Tech
A modern website, RealScout home search for your clients, and CRM tooling already set up. You get the stack rather than assembling it yourself in your first year.
Training and Coaching
Contract mechanics, pricing strategy, negotiation, and the parts of the business nobody teaches in licensing school. Ongoing, not a one-week onboarding.
Transaction Support
Help with the paperwork, deadlines, and compliance detail so your hours go into clients and conversations instead of chasing signatures.
eXp Realty Behind You
PorchLight is brokered by eXp Realty of Southern California, a cloud brokerage with revenue share, stock ownership, and a national agent network. Worth knowing about; ask us how it actually works day to day.
Who We're Looking For
Two Kinds of Conversation
Newly Licensed
You want to learn properly
You have the license and now need the part licensing school skipped: how to price a home, read a disclosure, structure an offer that holds, and talk to people at the most stressful moment of their year. Bring the willingness; the mentorship is here.
Experienced
You want room to grow
You already know how to close. What you may be missing is support that lets you spend more time in front of clients, a brand people recognise, and a team that treats your book as yours. Come and compare notes.

From Agents on the Team
“Amir is an amazing realtor. He found us a wonderful house in CA in 2022 and then sold our house in 2026 when we were relocating back to the east coast. Offer less than 1 week after listing and seemless process.”

Questions
Before You Reach Out
- I just got my license. Is that a problem?
- No. New agents are welcome, and mentorship is the reason. What matters more than experience is whether you are willing to learn the mechanics properly and show up consistently.
- What does training actually look like?
- A mix of one-to-one coaching, shadowing live appointments, and working through real transactions with someone alongside you. Specifics depend on where you are starting from.
- Can I join part-time?
- Let's talk about it. Part-time can work depending on your situation and goals. It is a conversation rather than a policy.
- Where does the team work?
- San Diego, with an office in North Park. The brokerage is cloud-based, so the day-to-day is flexible, but this is a local team working local neighborhoods.
- I'm at another brokerage. Is this confidential?
- Yes. Conversations with agents currently licensed elsewhere stay between us, with no obligation on either side.
